if u take a Art as a gcse here is a few pointers:
1. do not do something on a new subject art teachers seem to hate it at skools and will look especallly down on manga and cartoon
2.Do not ever as a teacher how to fix a piece of art BIGGEST NNO NO EVER. pointer on what to do next fine but how to FIX or CORRECT never EVER ASK. or they may work o it or reck it this is coming from alot of times when this has happened i always forget to follow my own advise.
3.trust teachers views on art to be able to get the grade but do not trust it to be helpful to your own personal style and methods
4.always bring a ipod or mp of anykind exams without them are devastatingly boring
5. trust your own instinct as well as taking in account others views on how to do your peices and you will do great
